In a fine, unclipped dust jacket. xvii, 200. 53 plates, mostly in colour, as well as further b&w illustrations, many of his own works, and reproductions of other artists' works. Hebborn's infamous instruction manual on the techniques he used to create numerous forged drawings and paintings. Published shortly after his death in Rome, likely murdered. Appears all but unread, an excellent copy and the best I have handled.

Marbled endpapers. viii, 324, followed by the Dublin catalogue, viii, 64. With the engraved dedication page to Prince Albert. Lacks three of the 28 engravings listed, the first engraving, The South Sea Bubble; The Bathers, and Musidora. p. 250, engraving detached. 25 full page engravings and eight sculptures. Crack to front gutter. A worn copy, but binding firm, pages clean.

Smart linen boards, with gilt T&H motif to upper board. 53 col. plates, 92 b&w plates and 79 line drawings. In the original card slipcase, with a little edgewear, a few minor stains to one edge. As a result, both unclipped jacket and book in fine condition, with a very bright jacket.

London: For the British Society of Aesthetics by Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1961. Wraps. Fair. pp. 120. Glue holding wrap to spine has eroded leaving the wraps still attached but somewhat loose. Several underlinings to articles, and annotations to rear cover. Handwriting appears very similar to that of Morris Cox, of Gogmagog Press. (Further provenance details can be supplied).

In unclipped jacket, housed in a previous owner's transparent sleeve, over paper backing. xviv, 419. A cornucopia of British architectural oddities, researched, and in many cases photographed or drawn by Jones, and a classic of its kind. Previous owner's name to flyleaf. Jacket spine somewhat faded. The dust jacket cover has been discreetly taped to the sides of the boards. The jacket, as far as I can tell, can be removed from its sleeve, and the old tape could be lifted with an appropriate solvent. Still a very nice copy, binding tight, pages clean and bright.

Enclosed a copy of supplement in unopened sealed transparent envelope, with typed letter from Zufi dated November 2014, stating that the supplement contains all the new photos taken for the second edition. With a superb collection of photographs, showcasing items from the early Apple I in 1977 to the Lisa in 1983, through to more recent iDevices and Macbooks. A painstaking survey of Apple's progress, and labour of love by Zufi: "In 2009, I decided to embark on a personal mission to document and photograph every product Apple has made since 1976. In 2013, after collecting over 500 products and taking over 150,000 photos I self published 'ICONIC: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation' - a 340 page book that chronicles every major Apple product ever released." Crimson cloth boards, decorated gilt titles and design to spine, gilt rules, title and embossed gilt motif. pp. xxiii, 331 + 7, pub's adverts. With an armorial bookplate affixed to first blank, inscribed, "To Lee [?] Mirehouse from Mr Frederick Ingle, Christmas 1901." Almost certainly Frederick Ingle (1839-1912), a high profile architect who died leaving a large estate part of which continues to be run as the Frederick Ingle Charitable Trust. The plate has left an offset to the facing tp. Front hinge loose, former library label to front pastedown, library call number to base of spine, rubs to front cover edges. Pages browned, else a decent, clean copy.

"Joseph Wright (1734-1797) arrived in Bath from his native Derby in November 1775. Recently returned from a tour of Italy, he came to the fashionable spa town to re-establish his business as a portrait painter, hoping to fill the vacancy left by Thomas Gainsborough the previous year. This book, the first to examine Wright's little-known Bath period, places the artist in the context of a city then at the height of its unique cultural significance. Using rarely-seen illustrations of his work, it considers his attempts to conquer a saturated portrait market with images of local celebrities, and his use of domestic spaces for public exhibition."
